UFLX Now Accepting Teams for 2026 Season
The Universal Football League Xtreme (UFLX) has officially opened its expansion process for the upcoming 2026 season. The league is currently accepting applications from teams based in Florida, with limited consideration given to groups of teams from Georgia that apply together.
As the league continues its mission to grow adult amateur tackle football across the Southeast, UFLX leadership has emphasized that all potential teams must pass a thorough vetting process. This includes evaluations of financial stability, operational readiness, stadium availability, and market strength.
“Expansion is a major step forward for us, but we’re focused on sustainability,” said Commissioner Mack. “We want teams that are well-prepared to contribute to the league’s vision of competitive, organized football across Florida and beyond.”
Teams applying from Georgia will only be considered if multiple organizations join together to establish regional competition and reduce travel concerns. Standalone Georgia teams will not be accepted at this time.
Approved teams will join a growing UFLX ecosystem, complete with live-streamed games, league-wide sponsorship opportunities, and exposure through the league’s recent broadcast deal with Varsity Sports Nation (VSN).
Applications are now open, and interested organizations are encouraged to begin the process early to allow time for review and onboarding.
